after the "great 2020 conjunction" of jupiter and SAturn
Picture
The conjunction attracted a lot of media coverage. Regarded by many as a single day-long event on December 21, there was a lot of speculation on how it would affect us. Some people even wondered if it signaled dark days ahead or the end of days.
The conjunction was a gift! Jupiter provides us with a ship to sail the seas of change. Saturn shapes our vessel as we journey to new dimensions.
facts about conjunctions
  • They're frequent and cyclical. Jupiter - Saturn conjunctions occur every 20 years.
  • The effects of this conjunction (or any other) aren't limited to one day.
  • For each conjunction, a unique energy matrix begins to form as the planets draw closer.  This energy builds until the conjunction is exact, or when the planets are closest in the same sign of the zodiac. The energy modulates in the days and weeks after, as the planets part ways. Each planet continues to journey across the sky at it’s own pace, leaving us with a new energetic gift.
The conjunction was unusual
It occurred on the winter solstice, the shortest day of the year and the longest night in the northern hemisphere. Life begins in silvery darkness. On this day, new seeds sprouted, whether that emergence was physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual.
The conjunction was the closest Jupiter and Saturn have been in four centuries.
It was visible because it happened at night for the first time in more than 800 years.
Jupiter stood beside Saturn in the sign of Capricorn, where Saturn is the most at home and strongest.
Uranus square saturn 2020 and pluto in capricorn 2021 bookend the great conjunction story
Saturn square Uranus in Aries began in 2020. The square continues in 2021, strengthening Uranus’ offering, a cosmic wave of energy we can tap into and raise our collective consciousness to new levels. Saturn squared Uranus during America’s Great Depression and the women’s liberation movement of the 70s. During the Depression, we didn’t bring the energy into higher levels, but the women’s movement raised consciousness and provided freedoms to many who had been oppressed and controlled.
Pluto enters Capricorn on January 27, 2021. Pluto isn’t the “Great Destroyer” as he/she is often called, this planet is the “Great Creator.” Pluto last entered Capricorn in November 1762. After years of unrest, the American Revolution began in 1775 and ended with independence for America.
what's coming?
Change. Possibilities. New life. And, the disintegration of that which no longer serves us for our best lives and spiritual growth.
